I'll Say This (November 25th, 2024)

I had a feeling this would be a good episode, and hopefully, I turned out to be correct. This is one of the best sports weeks of the year. Obviously, we have Michigan and Ohio State to look forward to, but we have college basketball heating up and will probably start to get some MLB free-agent news. We have Detroit Lions football on Thanksgiving. In past years, the idea of having to watch the Lions on Thanksgiving was usually enough for me to throw up my turkey, but this year, I’m genuinely looking forward to it.

I’m curious to see the response to my Bryce Underwood take. I feel like I was having difficulty coming up with an exact thesis for that segment. I use the term vibes, probably too often, but something about this feels off from a vibe standpoint. It doesn’t mean that I’m not glad that Bryce Underwood is at Michigan; I think it’s great news for the program, but it does mean that College football, as I’ve known it for so long, has officially changed. I guess this means I’m old, and I’ll just have to get used to it.
